Recreational Program
Recreational Dance is fun and full of learning! Classes are available for all levels and ages. All of our dance classes are taught by fully certified & experienced teachers. Our goal is to teach your child the art of dance and confidence. Whether you want to learn ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, or another type of dance, we have the class for you. Our studio is equipped with 2 Dance Rooms, offering a full schedule of classes to fit a variety of busy schedules. Recreational dance classes meet weekly throughout the season. Each year, we offer an exciting “End of the Year Recital” to showcase our dancers and their accomplishments. Triple Essence welcomes ALL dancers from toddlers, teens to adults. Company Program
Company Team placement is by invitation/audition & is based on overall ability & technical skill. A dedication to dance, along with enthusiasm, motivation, and a strong team spirit, is absolutely necessary. Our competitive program gives serious dancers more rigorous training and performance opportunities. We have five levels in our dance company at present. Students are placed on teams where they can develop, be inspired, and be challenged throughout the upcoming season. Triple Essence provides teams for all ages and dance levels. From Peewee to Elite, we allow everyone to experience the joy and camaraderie of competition. Our teams consistently rank at the top in competitions and receive numerous specialty awards, including Top Studio, Best Choreography, Ultimate Entertainment, Ultimate Crowd Pleaser, Ultimate Precision, Studio Spirit, Total Package, Best Emotional Execution, Best Costume, Teachers Choice, and more! Congratulations to our Company Dancers. 2025 National Champions!!! TEDS brought home several 1st Place and overall wins, along with ultimate and special awards at nationals, and multiple invitations to compete in the National Mirror Ball Finale Challenge! Congratulations on your BIG WIN! 2025 National Mirror Ball Champions for our Company Production, which highlighted dancers from all our teams, from Petite to Elite! Having fun, exploring movement concepts, developing dance skills, strengthening the body & brain, coordination, rhythm, interacting with others - it all happens in Teeny, Mini Dance. Skills become more challenging throughout the year & progress with age level. Teeny & Mini Dance students perform two dance routines in our year end recital. They will be introduced to Jazz, Ballet, Tap dance fundamentals but most importantly they will be introduced to a world of FUN!
Jazz/Tap Combo
Combo classes are designed to teach children the fundamentals of Jazz & Tap dance. Class includes introductory skills, stretching, across the floor, center technique & fun combinations.
Combo students perform two dance routines in our year end recital.
Street Jazz & Hip Hop
At TEDS we’re on the cutting edge of what’s hot! Our classes incorporate the fun funky styles of street jazz and classic jazz techniques. Similar to what you would see in televised dance performances or in concert. Students learn the importance of isolation's, floor work, across the floor progressions & energetic choreography. Hip Hop is high-energy and infuses the latest styles of street dance. Students step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
Ballet & Lyrical
Ballet classes are offered for all levels. Students are urged to study ballet, as it is the foundation of all other dance styles and facilitates further success in these disciplines.
Lyrical is a style of dance that uses the emotion and mood of the music. Dancers learn proper body placement, body alignment, barre and center floor work, progressions, and combinations.
Leaps & Turns
This class is a technique class that is dedicated to learning, improving, and perfecting technique in jumps, leaps, turns, etc. Students work on stretch & strengthening techniques to improve dancers’ power & skill.
Boys Only Hip Hop
Watching their sisters & friends having fun in dance class, many young men ask, "Can't boys dance?" Our reply - "Yes, they can!" In a special Hip Hop class just for boys, we discover ways of moving through creativeness & present-day dance moves.
Boys will certainly enjoy the artistic outlet that dance provides.
